Adult Swim Lessons

11:00am-11:30am
11:35am-12:05pm

* Lessons with level Parent Tot, Parent Tadpole, Guppies, Guppy Grad & Seahorses are designed for a parent to be in the water with their child while staff teaches from the pool deck. Only one parent/care giver in the water per kid, but there must be an adult in the water.  Siblings in the same lesson can have up to one parent per 2 kids.

** Levels Turtle, Seal, Swim Team Prep, Middle School Learn to Swim are advanced or old enough for kids not to need an adult in the water the whole time with them, so no parent/caregiver should be in the water for those.  Our swim teachers will not be getting in the water to teach kids hands on whose parents don’t plan to be in themselves.  Our teachers will, however, get in occasionally for demonstration purposes, but will mainly coach from the deck.

Parent & Tot:  6 month - 3 years old

Focus mainly on water acclimation with games, songs, and lots of toys. With your help (the parent), we introduce necessary swimming skills and the principles of our Learn to Swim Program.

Parent & Tadpole: 2 - 3 years old

Water acclimation continues in this class, where the parent and teacher encourage basic swim skills through repetition and games. Child must have passed Parent & Tot or Love the Water.

Guppies: 3 - 4 years old

This is a starting point for children with no prior experience in swim lessons. Children learn to relax & enjoy the water while acquiring beginning swim techniques.

Guppy Grad: 3 -5 years old

This class is for children who have passed guppies and feel comfortable putting their face in the water but are too young for the seahorse class. 5-year-olds uncomfortable in water may also take this level class. Intro to necessary swimming skills, including front crawl and back floating.

Seahorse: Primary Skills (5+ years old)

This class is for children who are five years and up who feel comfortable putting their face in the water. Intro to basic swimming skills, including front crawl and back floating. Ratio 1:5

Turtle: Stroke Readiness

This class is for children who can comfortably swim 5 yards on their front and 5 yards on their back. Children will continue to learn front and backstroke, with an introduction to side breathing, deep water swimming, and breaststroke.

Seal: Stroke Development

Swim Team Prep Class: Before you join the Swim Team
