Snow Day Program

A "SNOW DAY" is when the TTUSD calls no school for weather-related reasons. With the Distance Learning, we do not have Snow Day Programs at this time. Please visit our School Aged Programs page for more information about our care options.

The Truckee - Donner Recreation and Park District will offer a snow day program, unless either of the two situations below occurs.

We will not hold a snow day program if:
-There is no power at the Community Recreation Center OR
-The National Weather Service declares a state of emergency i.e. life threatening, blizzard conditions, etc.

In the event there is a snow day program, we will fill your day with fun, snowy activities.

Snow Attire, Swim Suit, Towel, Lunch  & Snacks

If this program is OPEN for registration online, the program is being held.

Enrollment opens online beginning at 8:00 am. There is no priority registration, first come, first serve. Be aware, once you are paid for, there are no refunds.

If you were signed up for Kid's Korner on a snow day, you are not automatically signed up for snow day programs. This is a separate program and fee. The hours that you were signed up with Kid's Korner will be credited to your account to be used at a later time. In the case of multiple snow days in one week, the total credits will be refunded to your account in one transaction by Friday at 5 pm.
