Irrigation Specialist
Brief Summary: TDRPD has an exciting opportunity to join our Parks Department for the 2023 Summer. The Parks Department seeking a skilled and experienced grass and irrigation specialist to join our team and help us maintain our sports fields to the highest standards. In this role, the irrigation specialist will be responsible for ensuring that our fields have healthy and attractive grass, and that the irrigation systems are properly maintained. Key responsibilities include regular inspections and repair of our irrigation systems and grass upkeep. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in grass and irrigation maintenance, with knowledge of grass types, fertilization and irrigation systems, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Hours: 40 hours a week.
Pay: $25.13 - $26.14 per hour, plus District perks valued at $500 per month for a family of 4 (they include membership passes to the fitness center, pool, golf course, and beach for employees and their entire family).
