UPDATE: 4th of July at West End Beach. Truckee Residents Only.

In an effort to manage the crowds and activity at West End Beach Park on 4th of July, we have made the decision to only open the beach up to Truckee residents & homeowners only. This applies for July 4th only.

ENTRANCE INTO WEST END BEACH PARK ON JULY 4TH WILL BE FOR LOCAL RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS OF TRUCKEE ONLY. 


• First come first serve. Access will require a Government Issued ID with a Truckee Address listed. If ID address is not current, please in addition to your ID, bring a Utility Bill that matches name on ID.

• No pre-orders, tickets or reservations. First come first serve. 

• As a result of Covid-19, attendance on the day will be limited to 700 people.

•.A local ID will grant admission for up to 4 people.   Families can present two local ID’s for admission.

• Admission to the beach is $6 for adults over 18 years of age and $5 for children under the age of 18 or Seniors (62+).

• The beach will open at 8am and close at 8pm. 

• Playgrounds, picnic tables remain closed due to COVID restrictions.

• Pavilion area is open for day use. No Reservations. 

• NO Charcoal grills provided or brought into the park. ONLY Personal GAS BBQ’s are ok. 

All guidelines and precautions will continue during this day that includes staying within your 10x 10 ft. space. Anyone not following the guidelines will be asked to leave the park.
